Wow, have I been MIA for a while! I have been caught up with moving to a new city, finding a new job (make that 2), and simply having a great time. I’ve neglected my blog, and for that I apologize.
A good friend from college was recently married in Grand Haven, MI. While celebrating the start of her new life, I, along with 25+ other guests, stayed at Khardomah Lodge

What a lovely thing to wake up to… This couch had been moved around to various spots the past few days - even in the middle of the driveway into the resident parking behind. This morning it was here.

Last night was my first full night in my new city. Thanks to my bestie here, I had a great time observing the game of Ultimate Frisbee. To top it off, we all went out for a beer, compliments of the organization’s sponsor. Awesome.
I think I’ll be joining them for the rest of the games… It looked like a lot of fun, and it seemed pretty easy to grasp for this level of play.
I’m moving today. To a new city. To rejuvenate a bit. I need a change.
Just picking up and leaving…semi spur-of-the-moment considering I had to submit a two weeks’ notice.
I’m just about finished packing up a few boxes for a move. I don’t have much - just my car, as this is starting off to be temporary move with the hopes of it being permanent. I don’t know where my “permanent home” will be, but this is the step I need to take.
